Eintracht Frankfurt Announces 2025 Summer Schedule, Including U.S. Tour

Eintracht Frankfurt has revealed its full summer training schedule ahead of the 2025/26 season, which will include a series of friendlies and another extended trip to the United States as part of its international expansion strategy.
Following a successful tour last year, the club will once again cross the Atlantic, setting up camp in the U.S. from July 22 to August 3. During the tour, the team will play two friendly matches: one against Louisville City FC on July 29 at 7:30 p.m. local time (1:30 a.m. CEST) and another against Major League Soccer side Philadelphia Union on August 2 at 5:30 p.m. local time (11:30 p.m. CEST).
Part of a Global Strategy
“This summer is all about preparing in the best possible way for the new season,” said Markus Krösche, Eintracht’s sporting director. “Last year, we laid the foundation for a strong first half of the season during our time in Louisville. We were very satisfied with the conditions there, which is why we’ve chosen to return this year. The training camp also supports Eintracht Frankfurt’s broader internationalization strategy.”
Before flying to the U.S., the team will stay closer to home. Eintracht’s first friendly is set for July 19 at 6:00 p.m. against FSV Frankfurt in Bornheim. Another international friendly is scheduled for August 9, just a week before the season kicks off, although the opponent has not yet been confirmed.
Preseason Kicks Off in Early July
Head coach Dino Toppmöller will lead the squad into the new campaign beginning July 9, when the team gathers for its first official training session. Prior to that, players will undergo fitness and performance assessments on July 7 and 8.
The new season promises high expectations as Eintracht Frankfurt is set to compete in the UEFA Champions League. The team will open its domestic season with a DFB-Pokal first-round match between August 15 and 18, followed by the Bundesliga season opener between August 22 and 24.
