OKLAHOMA CITY, OK. July 25, 2016 – Did you know that there are more than 50,000 beef producers in Oklahoma? Cattlemen spend long days caring for cattle and the land in order to produce a quality, healthy and nutritious protein – BEEF.

“Beef promotion is not something that individual beef producers have time or resources to do on a large scale,” said Charlie Swanson, President of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association. “Oklahoma cattle producers currently have the opportunity to sign a petition calling for a referendum for a state beef checkoff.”
