This is Sarah and I will be writing the column today as my Mom (Lloydelle) is unavailable to do so. In preparation for writing the column I have been looking through the journal kept by Augusta. It is a prized possession of the museum and we often look to it for information to share with both our readers and museum guests. I have probably stated this before, but it’s always interesting to look back and hear about the life of people in our county 100 years ago, and even more interesting to hear it described by someone who was actually there to live it out.
