Lova Joan Craft, 86, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on January 29, 1930 in Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Charlie Doyle and Vivian Glee (Morrow) Farni. Lova Joan passed away on August 14, 2016 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Lova Joan enjoyed raising cattle and watching alpaca. Her hobbies included gardening and growing fruit trees. Lova Joan loved watching her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was a staunch defender of everything small. Most of all Lova Joan enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was a member of the Elk City congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1969. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall in Elk City, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin- Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Lova Joan is survived by four sons, Max Knisley, Charlie Craft, and Jared Craft all three of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Sam Craft of San Jose, California; three daughters, Melanie Murray of Elk City, Oklahoma, Marie Callahan and her husband Scott of Phoenix, Arizona, and Amanda Perez and her husband Jeremy of Flagstaff, Arizona; brother, Bruce Farni of Hammon, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Vivian Farni; two sons, Jim Knisley and Joe Knisley; and one great-granddaughter, Victoria.
