CHEYENNE, Oklahoma: On Sunday, December 18, at 2:00 p.m. Washita Battlefield National Historic Site invites the public to enjoy an afternoon movie that follows the stories of two families during westward expansion. One family is white, the other is Native American, and they are brought together and woven seamlessly into real historical events and people, like Cheyenne Chief Black Kettle, portrayed by Oklahoman Wes Studi, to tell this journey into the west.
