President Marilyn Wilson called the January 7, 2016 meeting to order in the Cheyenne Library. The interactive program was “A newspaper article to share”. Doris Minor brought a Strong City Press paper of 1930s, which told of building the Strong City School; Tucker Blythe brought a copy of an obituary of his great-great-grandfather, which he was very surprised to find just recently; Marilyn Wilson brought an article from the 1920s in which Claude Wilson was at a basketball game and was yelling for his favorite team when a man slit his throat; and Dale Tracy showed the front page of an 1894 Cheyenne Sunbeam, which showed the cattle brands of the area ranchers.
