Lonna Mae Scott Long was born November 27, 1939 on the Scott farm to Loyd and Bertha Bowman Scott. She went to her Heavenly Home surrounded with her loved ones.
As a small child, Lonna was very inquisitive, sticking her finger in the separator blades after being told no over and over, resulting with the tip of her finger being cut off. Actually, she was quite proud of that.
Lonna was active in sports, music and enjoyed her classmates. She loved making life more fun for everyone. It was not hard to find a job with the background you acquired coming from Roger Mills County, so she started her career at that time. Lonna met her soon to be husband while working at Savage & Loon in North Hollywood. They were married in 1960 and had their first child, Scott Jeffery, a few years later. They added a daughter, Jana, a few years later.
Lonna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Don, four brothers and one sister – George Loyd Scott, Jr., Robert Irwin Scott, Vincent Harold Scott, Gary Lee Scott and Billie Scott Vincent and brother-in-law Wally Vincent. She is survived by her children Scott Jeffrey Long and Jana Long Fuentes and husband Isaac, granddaughter Jaqueline Fuentes; sister Betty Scott Lamb and husband Stanley and sisters-in-law, Sharon Scott of Roswell, NW, Barbara Scott of Sayre, OK, Darlene Scott of Strong City, OK and Jeanette Scott of Strong City, OK; many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
