Eulon Hollingsworth, 78, of Hammon, Oklahoma was born on February 25, 1939 in Fayette County, Alabama. He is the son of Alfred and Parelee (Henderson) Hollingsworth. He passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Great Plains Regional Medical Center.
He enjoyed fishing, gardening, grilling out, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He loved being able to spend time with his employees. Eulon was a member of the Church of Christ in Hammon, Oklahoma. He served his country in the United States Army. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 18, 2017 at Hammon Church of Christ, Hammon, Oklahoma. Tom Harguess will officiate. Interment will be at Red Hill Cemetery in Hammon, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
Cherishing his memory are his wife Wilma Jean Hollingsworth of the home; two sons, John Robert Hollingsworth and his wife Jada of Elk City, Oklahoma; Alfred Thomas Hollingsworth and his wife Kristin, of Norman, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Oakley Eulon Hollingsworth, of Elk City, Oklahoma, Alex Hollingsworth, Charlotte Hollingsworth, and Xavier Hollingworth, all of Norman, Oklahoma. Three sisters Sheila Johnson and her husband Glyn, of Carthage, Mississippi; Lynn Sayre and her husband Charlie, of Winfield, Alabama; Larene Hollingsworth, of Schaumburg, Illinois He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Parlee Hollingsworth; one sister, LaRue Waters and Nephew Chuck Sayre.
