Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:1-2 In the opening of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians he did what he did in every letter he penned; he addressed, in the opening and closing, two of the things that, through Jesus, had so profoundly affected his life, grace…and peace. Paul had as good or better handle on those things than anyone in his generation. He had been a staunch Jewishlegalist when he had that encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus.
