Part 161 I was asked by a young man considering the existence of God, “How can an all-loving and all-present God exist if there is so much pain the suffering in the world?” A question that has caused many pondering individuals to abandon their faith in God. Bible readers can see how God delivered His people through the enslavement of Egypt, how God intervene to save Israel from their oppression in the Book of Judges, and how God loved the world enough to send His only begotten Son to heal the sick, feed the hungry, and the deliver the world from sin. How can this God refuse to intervene and watch as so many innocent people suffer in pain throughout the world? James, the writer of wisdom in the New Testament, explained, “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed” (James 1:13,14).
