The first person to receive a death sentence in the 76-year history of Roger Mills County is Felex “Buddy” Fesmire, Jr. Young Fesmire confessed to the slaying of three persons, which was also the first mass slaying in the county. The 19-year old confessed slayer who killed three persons in February, stood Friday with shoulders straight and no visible emotion as District Judge Charles M. Wilson sentenced him to die in the electric chair for one of the killings. He was sentenced to serve two consecutive life terms for the other slayings.
