What: 2018 Community Great Backyard Bird Count!
When: Saturday, February 17th, 2018, Come & Go from 8:00a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Where: The Marsh O’ Muck/ Black Kettle Outdoor Classroom Nature Trail located at the Cheyenne City Park
Who: Rangers from multiple land management agencies and anyone who wants to go birding!
Why: To create an annual snapshot of the distribution and abundance of birds.
What to bring: Warm and layered clothing
Water and snacks
Good, comfortable walking shoes
Camera (if you want to take pictures)
Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
Note: Washita Bird Guides & Binoculars will be available to use during the program.

CHEYENNE, Oklahoma: As the saying goes, the early bird gets the worm! The Great Backyard Bird Count will begin at 8:00 a.m. (sunrise is 7:23 a.m.) on Saturday, February 17th. If you are not an early bird and plan to arrive late- simply follow the Marsh O’ Muck/ Black Kettle Outdoor Classroom Nature Trail located at the Cheyenne City Park to meet up with the rangers.
