Thousands of people enjoyed a great week of celebration during the 1987 Reunion. Visitors from all parts of the country were back to the place the call “home” and to visit with old friends and family. The parade was the biggest anywhere and people lined the streets for almost two hours to view the floats, riding clubs, bands, cars, wagons, and anything else that one could imagine. The Reunion began on April 11th with the dedication of the new Roger Mills County Courthouse and ended the 18th with different school reunions, old-timers basketball and a dance. It will be awhile before we forget the celebration of 1987.
